Is the BRU promotion over?

My boys are 18 lbs and their carrier car seats go up to 22 lbs. So I'm starting to think about the convertible ones. Does anybody know if that BRU trade in promotion is still on or will be back on soon?

they had one a couple of months ago...

I actually got a great deal online at diapers.com they matched an online competitor, and I was able to get another 10% off with being a new customer. I googled the carseats I was looking for and just also added "sale" or "coupon" to the search I think one website was www.babycarseats.com they now have a 18% off in their shopping cart. I called Diapers.com to get the competitor matching and they did it over the phone and put it in my shopping cart as a coupon. they said that I wouldn't be able to stack the 10% new customer one with it, but it did... good for me!

the weight limit on the carriers is really a heigh limit mostly, I believe within 1 inch of the top. I had the ones that go to 30 pounds, and 32 inches, we were able to use until 21 months... life was much easier for getting in and out of the car for us with the carriers since I would bring the stroller into the house and then out to the car. now I have to load and unload at the car. big UGH! i also hesitate doing quick errands like the post office... it was much easier when I could use the DSNG and just get in and out w/o unstrapping them into a stroller. anyway, I only say this because my life was easier w/the carriers... and I waited until they were at the absolute last milimeter to move ours.

when you do go to get new carseats make sure to try them out in your car. also try getting the kids in and out in the car. BRU is very good about letting you test the seats in your car.

I think they ran it at the end of last summer. I was hoping to make it that long with out seats, but it's not going to happen.

 

Are you on their mailing list? I know right now they have $10 off every $50 you spend on a car seat as a promotion, and I frequently get the 20% off any one item in a flyer from them... plus there's the whole twin discount. It seems like it depends on who checks you out (a manager or not) as to how many coupons you can use. I just keep giving them more coupons out of the flyer to see how many they'll let me use! With the rare exception of maybe one time, they always let me "stack" the coupons.
