I am 15 weeks 5 days and in my first trimester I lost about 15 lbs due to morning sickness. Since the morning sickness stopped I have only gained 2 lbs back. My doctor didn't seem too concerned at my apt 2 weeks ago that I hadn't gained any weight then. Before I got pregnant I was average weight for my height. I am just wondering if this is healthy for the babies or if I should ask my doctor about it at my next appointment??

If your eating healthy, than don't worry about the weight gain. It will come.

That's the thing.. I don't know if I am eating enough. I really didn't eat a lot before I got pregnant and with the morning sickness barely ate anything but crackers(YUCKKK!!) so now that I have my appetite back I don't know if I'm eating enough or if just seems like I'm eating a ton because I really haven't been eating in the past 3 months

If you are eating, dont' worry!! I was only up 6 lbs at 20 weeks and then the lbs started coming. I gained 3 lbs a week the last few weeks!

But if you aren't sure you are eating enough, I'd error on the side of caution and eat some more. I really liked Carnation Instant Breakfasts...lots of calories and protein. And I could stomach them MUCH better then Ensure.

It took me a little while to get back into eating after I wasn't sick all the time, so I went online and found a list of food you should eat when your pregnant with twins. I simplified it up a lot, and basically made sure I ate what was on my list every day.
This was basically what it was:
Breakfast: a protein and whole grain, like an egg on toast, or high fiber cereal with sausage.
Lunch: a protein, whole grain and vegetable. Which is basically most sandwiches.
Snacks: 1-2 pieces of fruit, cup of yogurt, carrot or other orange fruit or vegetable, and a glass of milk of calcium OJ. I ate something from my snack list any time I was hungry.
Supper: A protein, two vegetables, and a complex carb. When meat was still making me queasy, I counted beans or berillo pluss pasta as my protein and carb.
