So our babies are 3 weeks today, and granted everything is going OK, and my MIL does come to help quite a bit...but what business does my FIL have calling my DH to see if he wants to golf this weekend?!?!? They thought HE needed a break!!! I'm not really mad, because I'm actually just laughing about it, but give me a break! Did I mention my DH actually sleeps 7 hours in a row every night???

You mean some men actually get up and help during the night??? I am lucky to get help from him during the day.

Are you a golfer? Would you prefer he asked you to go golfing?

Maybe you should send your hubby - with both twins in a sling! I'M sure he was just trying to be nice and bond w/his son but.....

good for you for having a sense of humor!

Okay, don't throw things at me but I would have told him to go. Granted the twins were not our first, but dh's deal with new babies way differently than mom's do and a break for a "guy" thing would have been great for my dh. Okay, ducking my head back out! LOL

The nerve!!! What a ding dong! I agree with the pp...tell him to take the babes with them. [IMG] and that you are going to get your nails done! ha ha

Now I also agree with ktfan. BUT hear me out. If he gets to go out for lets say 2 hours for a round of golf... when he gets back you get to leave as soon as babies are fed (if you are nursing) and depending on their schedule you should be able to get out for a few hours also (like getting your nails done) I do understand that at 2 wks old you just KNOW your babes wont survive if you leave the house and not even left in the watchful eye of DH.... but it might (scratch that) it WILL do you good to get out. If you are completely against going anywhere... tell DH too bad so sad and he better wait another week or so!!

All guys think the other guys need a break, so typical! This happen to me when mine were younger...

I think it is just a male thing... bless their hearts, YEAH RIGHT!
