Is it wrong to feel PROUD?

I am not normally a prideful person, but this morning I realized that I have a great sense of pride that I am able to do things like: breastfeed 2- 5 month old babies while painting my older DD's nails or soothe and rock both babies to sleep at the same time.

These are things I know all of you do/have done, but I spent several months wondering if I could do this and constantly second guessing my parenting abilities, so it feels good to realize we are doing just fine!

Anyone relating??

you're doing a lot and you've reached a comfort level doing it. absolutely feel proud, it's no small feat!

 

Nope, not wrong at all! Just like I was proud to survive my first ds, and then my first dd, now I'm proud to find myself handling 4 kids like a pro! I wouldn't go around bragging to every person on the street, but there's nothing wrong in realizing you CAN do it!

 

Is it ok? Are you kiding my LOL! YES! What I have over come and done the past 7 months! I feel proud and so should you. I don't go bragging about it to the grocery gal or anything, but I do hold my head high.

 

You should absolutely feel proud for what you have done and continue to do :clapping:

Definately NOT! I am starting to feel very proud of just surviving the first 6months never mind my day to day challenges. You feel as proud as you like because if anyone has earnt it a parent of multiples has IMO. Sounds like your doing a great job.

 

I think you have a lot to be proud of. I am pretty proud of myself too. Taking care of twins deserves some type of merit badge.

 

I'm so proud of you! Painting toenails while bfing?? So impressed! It's great to have that boost of self esteem and realize that you really CAN do anything!
