My girls for the past two nights have skipped their 3am feeding. Is this good for their age? They are 2 months. I really like the extra sleep but if they aren't big enough.......

To me it was like a full nights sleep... if it is not time than when or when did your kids? I thought their ped may have said it was okay after 9 weeks but now I am afraid maybe I am thinking that because that's their age.

Definetly not too soon. If they are gaining weight then they are fine. They probably realized that they would rather sleep then eat which helps their body grow as well. My babies have been sleeping through the night since they were that old as well. Enjoy the extra sleep! :D

I agree with natmarie. Mine started "sleeping through" around that age as well. If they are eating fine during the day and gaining, it is okay for you to get some rest too! Good luck, I hope they keep it up! :)

my girls started sleeping from 10:30 pm until about 7:am when they were about 6 weeks old and there was no way I was going to wake them up. They are fine now, and my doc totally agreed with my decision!

That's great!! I would also let them sleep if they are gaining weight!

At that age it is fine. If they need the food then they will wake up. Once they hit that three month growth spurt they will wake you up again. Enjoy the sleep whileyou can!

Yes let them sleep! At my 2 month appt our pedi said they were fine to sleep through the night, and actually said I could start cutting back on the 530 am feeding (they slept 11-530 at that point) until I just used a paci and have them sleep till 7-730. As long as they are gaining weight, enjoy your sleep!

Mine were also waking up once around this time (and they go to bed at 6 pm, used to be 7 pm), although at 2 months my boy would occassionally wake twice, but at 10 weeks that was history too.

Mine started sleeping through at months 3 and 4 and then woke up for that feeding at month 5, 6 and 7. As long as they are growing well and big enough, I don't see the need to wake them. They will wake when they are hungry.

I would like to know how many oz's are they getting during the day? I would love for that to be my schedule .. thats sounds great. I have two week old twins and desperatley need to catch up on sleep. I also have a 3 yrold getting up during teh middle of night.
so whatever sleep I Cant get would be awesome.
