The twins spit up every meal. And they will spit up for like an hour. Just seems a mess all the time. How normal is normal KWIM LOL. I feel like I am being puked on constantly and the blankets and play mats...grrrrrr.... they are always gross and being washed.

Are they grunting at all or arching their backs? When my girls are refluxing, I can actually hear them regurgitating and it coming back up their esophogus. I would talk to your pedi about it. I would say as long as they are "Happy Spitters", and don't seem to be in pain, and they are still gaining weight not to worry about it too much.

OH yeah LOL they are very happy spitters. Laughing the whole time usually. It just seem to be so much. Oh, and they have no weight gain issues.

I wouldn't be too worried about it then. You may want to mention it to your pedi at your next visit... Maybe they just think its funny to make messes!

The boys ped. said spit up is normal. If they are happy spitters, wouldn't worry too much. Mine always seem happy when they do it or right after. I was always worried about the amount. Their doc said to spill an ounce of fluid on the table, you would be amazed how much it is all spread out and you will realize how little they are actually spitting up. If it is discolored or chunky...then please call their doc.

Sounds like you have happy spitters! I know it's a pain to do all that laundry but consider yourself lucky! My Daniel had terrible reflux...wouldn't eat, threw up everything and hardly gained weight. He's still super tiny even though he eats well now.

But definitely mention it to your pedi on your next visit.

My pedi always said if they were happy and gaining weight the spitting up was just a laundry problem. I hope they outgrow it soon!
