Is it possible for one of the babies to cut off circulation in your leg while still in there? Its a very stupid question but it is 3:40 am and I can't sleep because my one leg feels like there is a million needles pricking it at once all up and down it. I am wondering if I should be worried. I have had problems with my legs for the last I don't know how long. But it was usually just restlessness now its pins and needles.... Anyone know the answer to my stupid question? Lol!

Sounds like restless leg syndrome to me. i guess it happens in pregnancy sometimes. Def talk to your doc.

I had really bad swelling during both of my pregnancies and had issues with carpel tunnel and restless leg syndrome while pregnant. Sounds like that may be what it is. I don't ordinarily have carpel tunnel or restless leg issues either.

Talk to you doctor...hopefully you can get some relief.

It doesn't sound like Restless Leg Syndrome to me, something I've had for as long as I can remember, but boy is it worse with pregnancy! With RLS, you feel an uncontrollable urge to move your legs - not really the pins/needles sensation. I would think it could be a nerve being pinched, but agree that you should mention it to your doctor.

Could be the sciatic nerve being pinched or tweeked. Whatever it is, no fun, sorry! :( The other night I woke up and both my hips and my butt were asleep and tingling, but no pins and needles.

 I have no advice, mention it to your doc though. It could have to do with the sciatic (sp?) nerve. Good luck finding out!!

The best thing I can suggest is laying on your left side. It's supposed to prevent them from squishing one of your major vessels
