Is it even possible to stop the screaming?!

It's mostly the 2 1/2 year old. I understand that he doesn't have much impulse control and kids scream. But holy cow! He lets one off at the top of his lungs and scares the bejeezus out of me! Then he just keeps going. Then he gets the twins in on the fun and I have 3 screaming children. They are playing but I dont think my ears can take it much longer! For sure my DH can't take it any longer...he is at his wits end with them anyways.

Any ideas on how to tone it down? I have tried counting him (1,2,3, majic) and timing him out...nothing seems to work. I can deal with an occasional outburst...but wowee!!

 

If you figure it out let me know! We deal with the same nonsense!

 

I've tried to teach mine about "inside" and "outside" voices and they just don't get it at all! The screaming makes me nuts too! No advice here, but I can totally sympathize!!!

Ahhh, Natalie is big into screaming right now. She loves it! Especially at the dinner table! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrgggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Even Rita looks at her and says, "Na-lie, no skeeming!"
