I've been on it since around 12 weeks. I started with m/s at 6 weeks and then it got better around 10 weeks and then came back even worse at 12 weeks. I gave up and asked for meds. Zofran has helped so much. Everytime I think it's not working as well, I'll try to go off it and realize how much it is helping. I'm down to 1 pill in the morning and I'm eating a lot more now. I'm not sure if my m/s is going to ever go away, but I can live with it now. The only side-effect I've had is constipation, which does stink. I'd rather deal with that than be sick, though. I hope you are feeling better soon.

A friend of mine was - she was on it until a few weeks into her 2d trimester. She said it helped her A LOT. She hadn't been able to keep any food down before that.

I had an RX of it... I only took one if I went 12 hours without holding down ANYTHING… and I faint when I throw up… and toward the end I would go into convolutions when I was “out”… I couldn’t be alone for fear I would choke on my vomit or hit my head… but luckily my m/s went away at 17 weeks… I did plan to go on it permanently @ 20 weeks if my m/s didn’t go away… I couldn’t be that big of a burden on my family the whole pregnancy… I too had the side effect of constipation… I had NEVER had constipation in my life until I took that pill… but I agree it’s better to deal w/ constipation then m/s

I've got some Zofran sitting in there on the counter, but I've not taken it yet. The side effects and stuff spooked me. I've just tried to get by as best as I can on Unisom/Vitamin B6 at night. If you try it, let me know about your experience. . .

I was on it from 8 weeks to almost 12 weeks.

Then insurance stopped paying for it. :( I probably needed it another 2 weeks, but I survived.

I lived on it till just before the babies were born. It was my saving grace and gave me the bit of life that I had while pregnant!!! My kids are totally normal and hitting all their milestones etc. They don't appear to have suffered any effects. It's expensive, so if your insurance pays, DO IT!!! Every time I skipped a dose, I threw up!

I was on it two different times with the twins. At the beginning and at the end. I don't rember how long it lasted, but it did wonders for me and allowed me to eat so I could gain weight. I haven't had to be on it this pregnancy, but I would take it if I had to.
