running around the house like a chicken with his head cut off chanting "its madness baby, march madness, its madness baby yeah!!!"

I mean seriously, I like the final four and everything but I am picking up toys and checking on sleeping babies and getting the babies bottles ready for tomorrow and my DH is alternatively sitting on the couch and jumping up and down yelling things at the tv. I think he has reverted back to being an infant himself.

I am saying this all in good humor and with much love...sometimes I am a bit envious of DH's ability to turn everything else off, forget about tomorrow's worries, and act like a kid himself!

Who are you telling my boyfriend is into this new video game on PS3 Call of duty 4 online with the surround sound in the living room up until 5 in the morning on it when he has to be at work at 7. Do you think he takes over the 5 am feeding? Of course not he picks the babies up and PLAYS with them when they would fall asleep on their own in 5 mins, and i could get an hour of sleep. But no whichever one wakes up he picks them up and bring them in the bed with him while he gets ready for work.(but he can't watch them while he is in the shower) so I gotta wake up an hour earlier. Every time I say something to him. He gets mad and tells the baby that mommy won't let me play with my son........and so on.. <_< Gotta love him though :D

Amen sistah! I can completely relate! I wish I could 'relax' more often....or just sometimes would be nice! :hug99:

BTW, my husband 'built' a 'ramp' today with a piece of plywood and the tailgate of his truck, and was doing 'tricks' on the RipStick(for those who don't know, it's a type of skateboard)! He's a 42 year old kid!

Yeah my DH does that too- he says he needs to make sure the babies know what "real" sports are while we are still here in Europe :p It's god though cause it mans he doesn;t mind staying up with them to watch the games and I get some sleep all by myself, without a baby on my chest!
He even set up a poll (where you vote for who wins in each game), and apparently the twins each told him who they wanted to win :p

Florida's not in it this year, so I couldn't give a hoot -- but yeah, DH is in a pool, so he's constantly flipping around and watching games and checking scores.....and I'm so over it!

He doesn't really shirk his parenting duties in favor of basketball, thankfully (he knows I'd string him up!) -- but last night, I was finishing feeding DS, and DD was done with her bottle, so he took her into the bedroom and turned on the TV while they waited for us to be done....

Because, you know, fast-paced sports is JUST the thing right before bedtime for a baby.
