    Hi ladies,

I am almost 14 wks pg with di/di twins. At about 12 and half wks I had a very scary bleeding episode. I bled a lot and passed some clots, but no cramping. The babies are fine and the dr believes the bleeding came from my cervix, which looked very irritated. My cervix is long and closed. I'm still spotting over a week later and am so stressed about it. I reeeaally want it to stop. I'm taking it very easy.

Did anyone else have an irritated cervix that bled a lot. Could this lead to other problems in the future? My dr doesn't think I have an infection but hasn't tested me for anything. Should I ask her to?

    TIA,
    Alanna

Mine bled just about every time we had sex (not uber fancy stuff, either). Also I'd get irritated from an ultrasound. I think I'm just sensitive when pregnant. ;)

I bled my first trimester and half of my second. I was told I too had an irriated cervix, it eventually stopped. I know how nerve wrecking it can be though.

I had heavy bleeding start in my 14th week and last well into the 2nd trimester. It became lighter, but still bled.
I was never told what it was from.

I know how scary it is to bleed while pregnant..it just doesn't seem right, does it?? The OB who checked me in the ER initially told me his wife bled through her entire pregnancy. I just had never heard about it happening before. It still didn't really make me feel better!

Lets hope your bleeding lightens up and stops in the near future!!
