Introduction

Hi all! I don't remember if I posted an introduction here on the 1st year, but I'll give a quick introduction!

My babies (Wyatt Lee & Riley James) were born at exactly 29 weeks. I went into preterm labor with no known cause. It couldn't be stopped or really even slowed down. I managed to get 1 of the 2 steroid shots for their lungs before I had to have a c-section due to them both being breech. Wyatt & Riley were immediately taken to the NICU where the spent nearly 8 weeks! (55 days to be exact lol) We just got to bring them home on Thursday, 1 day shy of being 8 weeks old. It's crazy to think they shouldn't have even been born until October 16th, but dang they are sooo adorable (maybe I'm bias ) Anyways, thought I'd throw out an introduction real quick cause I'm sure sooner or later I will have some questions for this section!! Welcome! I'm so glad both of your boys are doing so well now!

By the way, you aren't bias, your twins are verrrrrry cute!!!

Welcome Jo! You and I have a lot in common. I went into preterm labor at 28w 6days but was able to hold my boys off another 4 days, so they got all of their steroid shots before being born at 29.5 weeks. And my boys also spent nearly 8 weeks in the NICU (54 days). I had a ton of questions when we brought our babies home 2 months ago and I have found this forum to be VERY helpful. And oh my gosh those pictures are GREAT! Your babies are absolutely adorable!! I wish we would have had professional pictures taken of our boys when they came home. I'm jealous now looking at your pictures!
