Introducing our 2 year olds

Davis & Jessa

Just introducing our twins - Davis & Jessa turned 2 years old on April 30th.

We had a fun monkey themed birthday - here's another picture from their party with their cakes I made.

I ditched pacifiers 3+ weeks ago, and they are doing well with that... just seems that they babble on for an extra 30 minutes, but once they are asleep they don't wake up missing it if it dropped, so I'm glad for that.

We're still breastfeeding 2 to 3 times a day, and I'm actually glad we're doing it for many reasons, but I recently think I've figured out they have some slight allergy to yogurt and milk and soy milk maybe... once I cut out the daily yogurt their diaper output is much more solid and easy to clean up - since we cloth diaper this is a big deal!

Well, anyway, they are loads of fun, and its fun to watch them really start to interact more and more and talk up a storm. We're still waiting for 2 and 3 word phrases, but I think those will come soon enough now that they are repeating everything.

awww thanks! I bought the shirts at Target and added the "2" from cute fabric at Joanns. They turned out cute, but the "2"s were a bit bigger on them than I anticipated... Jessa's shirt is actually a size 9 mo. dress! I liked the style of it better than the pink shirts they had!

thanks everyone! I like to do crafty things and sewing too and this is about the extent of clothing I've made for the kids... maybe one day I'll take time to make a whole outfit!
