Introducing myself

Hello. I am new to this board. I had identical twin girls born on December 2, 2008. My name is Deannna and I am 33 yo. I don't get to the computer very often so I may not be very active, but I'll try. I have been very sleep-deprived. In addition to the twins, I have a 24 month old and I am a daycare provider. I am breastfeeding my twins which makes it even harder to get sleep. Any advice on any topic would be appreciated if you feel so obliged. Need to go now though, as kids are calling me.

 

Welcome and congratulations! I would imagine that you are very busy with your own kids right now, so you can't possibly be doing daycare at this time, right? With your three alone (and breastfeeding!) you must be a superhero! Lisa

Actually, I am back doing daycare. I started just 13 days after they were born. I have anywhere from 1 to 4 extra kids right now besides my own. We didn't have any money in reserve so I had to return to work as soon as I possibly could.

:welcome: Congrats on your babies and you are totally a super hero. I would like to watch a couple of kids so I don't have to go back to my job but I'm scared ****less!! I am trying to hold off till they are 5-6 months old and even that sounds scary. How are you doing it? I totally admire you!

Beth, I live in Willmar

Did you know that once a month there is a group of mothers that meet here in Willmar? It's the West Central Area Mothers of Multiples. We meet on the first Tuesday of every month at the Green Mill in Willmar. We just get together for a bite to eat and to visit. It might be a while before I am able to return tho.

Not sure really how I do it, I just have to so I do. After I have a few more kids in care I will be having an assistant, so that will help.
