Introducing myself

Hello!

I just joined today. We found out two days ago that we are expecting twins - yay! I am now 7w, 6d so very happy we found out so early.
I also have a 16 month old, so our hands will be full but we definitely have enough room in our hearts! Our due date is Oct 11.
We definitely have a lot to learn!

Congrats!!!!

I too found out really early (i think I was at 6w2d, maybe 3d?), and only by pure luck (long story). These will be our first children and it's taken my DH and I months to wrap our heads around the fact that there's two in there (if we've even fully grasped it yet). But we wouldn't have it any other way! Finding out early gives you lots of time to read and learn, and to secure the best care you possibly can. Welcome!

We found out really early too, 5 weeks...and even though it is 11 weeks later it is still hard to grasp the concept that there are going to be 2!! Anyhow, this is a great site, full of lots of good information!

Welcome and Congrats! Enjoy. My husband and I didn't find out till 10 weeks, and sometimes I still have problems wrapping my head around the thought of two. We bought car seats yesterday and I'm standing in line going "my goodness, we are having two babies!"

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

You will have your hands full!! having 2 newborns at once is intense (I won't lie!!) but it is also the most amazing thing to look at these two little girls and know that they were inside of me at the same time! I can't explain the feeling - it's just amazing and it makes all of the pregnancy complaints I had and the fact that my hands are full (I have 3 other kids) JUST FINE!!! you just do what you have to do!! I will tell you - enjoy every little bit of rest you are able to get now!!! All mommies are so very blessed and us twin mommies are that x2!!! I also found out that I was having twins very early (5wks 5 days!) I have felt like I won the lottery every since that day!!


Once again CONGRATULATIONS and you are in the right place for the best info on twin pregnancy - there are lots of mothers here that have been through or are going through their pregnancies w/ their twins so - LOTS of experience which you won't find anywhere else!!

I think it is exciting when people find TS soo early on in their pregnancy. Some people don't find the site until much later on or even after their delivery and wish they had found us sooner!

good luck and congrats...we found out that we were having two at 11 weeks. now they 8 months old and its still hard to believe...good luck getting a grasp on it before you have them, once they're here, its alot of work, tons of fun but still hard to grasp...

Welcome, this site is great I am a first time mom 27 weeks with identical boys. I have had so many questions and everyone on this site is so helpful. Congrats on the twins it is so exciting!!!
