    Hi all!

I have been trying to catch a moment to come on and share our birth story but there just aren't enough minutes in the day!

So, here's the short version -

My girls arrived January 8th at 38w2d after I refused induction at 38 weeks. I went into labour at 6am, arrived at the hospital at 8:45, and Mia Nicole was born at 9:36am, weighing 7 lbs 8 oz. Zoe Elizabeth arived 20 minutes later at 9:56am weighing 5 lbs 15 oz. I was 10cm dilated upon arrival at the hospital (!) and had an all-natural vaginal delivery, which seemed to leave most of the hospital staff in shock. The girls were perfect and we all came home the next day.

We are working hard at breastfeeding (Zoe might have a tongue tie issue and we've hit a few obstacles there) and my husband and I are trying to figure out how to get some sleep!!

A picture My link and a big thanks for all your support during the pregnancy! We made it!

Congrartulations! My girls were born on the 9th @ 35wks 3days with a natural vaginal delivry also. The nurses were super surprised that I didn't have a c-section since baby B was breech but they kinda had no choice since they came so fast. We have been home a week now and I think all we get done is feeding, sleeping and diaper changes. :)

here's to happy feedings and happy babies!

Congratulations on an amazing birth and your beautiful daughters! You make a lovely family. Good for you turning down the induction, look how great it turned out for you!! I remember your first post where you were wondering about having to transfer from your midwife to an OB. You're in Ottawa, same as my sister, so I've always remembered!

    Enjoy your beautiful babies!

Congratulations!!! They are so cute and may they always be healthy and bring you guys joy. You look so good, all 4 of you. Try to remember some moments these first 2 months because in spite of all the sleepless nights time flies. For me it's been 5 months now and my twins look like little children already and I am wondering where are the babies that I brought home:). I like their names, they are beautiful. Also, your birth story sounds impressive.
