Intro post

Hi all, I just wanted to say hi! My ID twin girls Elizabeth and Alexandra just turned 1 on the 15th, so I decided to come on over and join you all in 1-5.

My girls were born at 32 weeks and spent exactly 5 weeks in the NICU. They have no complications as a result as far as we can tell, though they didn't start crawling until a few days ahy of 11 months (and started pulling up the exact same day). They cruise some now, and Elizabeth lets go while standing sometimes, but I do not anticipate them walking for at least another month.

Their vocabulary is pretty god for their age - they already say "mama", "ball", "cup", "cat" and ask "dat?" while pointing. They eat just about anyting put in front of them, but I'm sure that'll change soon enough. They're happy little people, and I feel so blessed to have them in my life.

Hi and nice to meet you. My babies were due on the 15th June last year and also came 8 weeks early. Your girls are gorgeous! x

 

Happy birthday Alexandra and Elizabeth (Alexandra was one of my picks for the girls-unfortunately veto'd by DH :angry Mine were 33 weekers, in the NICU for 3 weeks. Mine started walking around a year. It sounds like it's just around the corner for your two!
