    Hello everyone!

My name is Marlena, I live in western New York State (near Niagara Falls). I’m 38 years old, married since 2002. We have a 3 1/2 year old daughter and boy/girl twins (Jocelyn Renee born 6 lbs. 1 oz. and Gavin Reece born 7 lbs. 6 oz.) born on 9/2/09 who are now about 6 weeks old. They were born at 38 1/2 weeks with no complications. I use to work full time, but now am a new SAHM so I’m adjusting to that as well.

I’m so looking forward to getting to know everyone on the site and learn from you all who have been there, done that or are “doing that” now. Having twins and a toddler is harder than I ever thought. Everyone in our household is trying to adjust and we have our good days and bad days. I feel like I’m on autopilot and am trying to keep everything together and often fail miserably. My husband is a great guy, but is often very frustrated with all the “adjustments” and sleep deprivation. This is HARD…I keep telling myself it will get better, but when you’re in the thick of it, it’s hard to see any light at the end of the tunnel.

Anyway…I’m looking forward to joining the board and getting to know everyone and learning from each other.

    Thank you!

:welcome: Congratulations on your babies. I also have a three year old and my twins. Somedays it is my three year old that drives me nuts as the twins are now really good and fairly independent. Hang in there

Welcome to TS and to the FY!! I had a 2.5 yr old and twin infants, I feel your pain! Just try to take it one day at a time! As long as everyone is fed, and no one had a mental breakdown, it was a successful day! :D You'll slowly develop a routine with the babies and your 3 yr old and one day it'll just "work"!

:welcome: to TS and the First Year! It's a ton of fun (after you get past the sleep deprivation part!). :)
