Do any of you ladies have this? I had vaginal pains pretty much up until about 23 weeks. Then it seemed to swap to inner thigh pains ( close to where I am guessing the thigh muscles meet with the vagina (?) I don't know how to explain it ), with occasional vaginal discomfort. I've googled it a few times, with some saying its round ligament pains and others saying it could be signs of PTL ( dialation, etc ).

Have you ladies had this and asked your docs about it? I remember asking both my OB and Peri about the vaginal pains when I was having just that and they said it was just things growing and stretching. But with all the contractions, E & D going on, I am just wondering if I should be concerned. Some days its just so painful to where I don't even want to get up to walk to the bathroom.

This something normal for twin pregnancies?

I had it for both pregnancies. I was told it was probably stretching, etc. Just make sure you keep an eye on all your symptoms and bring it up at your next visit.

My OB said that with my babies position and how they keep coming in contact with the cervix it is normal to get those vaginal pains that sometimes go down your thighs. He said they were nothing to worry about, but if you are still concerned I would call and double check.

I started feeling a similar pain down my inner right thigh a couple of weeks ago. After visiting the peri, I found that baby a had turned from breech to vertex...(She's on the right...) I just figured the pressure of her head was causing it. Then this week, I started feeling the same pain down my left side, too. Well, at my Wed appt with the peri, I found out baby B just switched to vertex as well!!! So.......maybe the babies' positions are causing it....??

I have felt pain in that area lately (I'm 23 weeks) I'm pretty sure mine is ligament pain, it almost feels like the ligament or tendon that attaches the innerthigh muscles to the back of the pelvic bone- so I get pain deep in my inner thigh and it radiates into my vagina area and hip joint. Sometimes I actually hear/feel a pop and the pain is relieved a little. I'm finding relief from some yoga/ hip expanding moves and it seems to feel better if I walk it off a little. Ahh the joys of pregnancy... only to get stronger and more uncomfortable in the last few months

Hmm.. I don't know. Baby B is and has always been up high and transverse. Baby A, on the other hand, has always been low and switching between vertex and breech. I'll just have to revisit the issue with my Peri on Tuesday I guess. My husband says when it comes to my pregnancy, there's no such thing as a stupid question!

Is it a sharp pain or more of a dull, ache-y pain?
