induction date set!!!!

Hi Everyone,
Our appointment went well today. Both babies got an 8 out of 8 on their Biophysical Profiles. But I'll tell you what. These sonograms stopped being fun. One of the babies always seems to be asleep. So they poked him. My belly is sore because of all the stretching so the poking hurt.

Ok so for the exciting news. If the babies don't come on their own by the end of the month I will be induced. on Jan 30. I am so excited to have an end date. THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL!!!!

I'm 33 weeks and 3 days today and I have been given permission to stop taking the procardia (the medicine I take to prevent contractions) on Jan 15th (35 weeks). Also, I'm off Bedrest on January 15th. I'm thinking that with those changes I may not make it until January 30th.

So if all goes well and I don't have these babies in the next few days. then I'll have them between January 15 and the 30th. YAY!!!!!

Congrats on having the finish line in sight!!!

My dr. just scheduled a C-section for jan 16th.

It is so nice to have something to look forward to and there is an end in sight! Good luck in the next few weeks.

 

Woo hoo!!! That is great news! I'm finding that it's a lot easier to hang in there when there's light at the end of the tunnel.

Great news! I bet you are SO excited! I think I'm getting my c section around the 27th! Lots of January babies! Please keep us updated on everything!

WOW!! The end in sight!! I remember the day you posted that you had to go on bed rest!! YEAH!!

 

Can this really be true ? Seems like just yesterday you joined TS, I know I know I am not the pregnant one ! Seriously, it is soo exciting to know you are in the home stretch!! Great job Momma!!

 

Wow...that is so exciting! my light at the end of the tunnel is telling myself that I won't be pregnant this summer! You did a great job with all that bedrest. So glad it worked!!

Yay! It's a great feeling to have the end date in sight. I will be induced in two weeks (so probably about the same schedule as JASB's c-section) if I don't go into labor before then. It's easier to handle the discomforts and stresses if you can tell yourself that it's only for a limited period of time. Congrats!

 

I was giving the go ahead to stop taking my meds and stop bed rest at 35 weeks and I had the twins three days later. So I never made it to my induction date. I know every pregnant woman is different but thought I would share. Isn't it nice to know there is an end in sight? Good luck to you!

WOO HOO!! Having a date makes you feel better.............it did me!!! It looks like there are a lot of babies to be born in Jan. on here. I'm scheduled for Jan 24 c/s!! I'm getting so excited!! You have done so great with your bedrest. Congrats on baking them so much longer!
