I'm getting an order ready for various baby things and I'm wondering about indoor gripper slippers. What are your kiddos wearing inside? At home mine wear only socks, but we have a very warm house. That being said, I wear slippers inside so maybe I shouldn't assume they are fine in socks. :pardon: The baby sitter keeps the kids in her finished basement on laminate floors. I imagine that's pretty cold on their feet.

Should I put them in sneakers or gripper slippers?

We have chilly floors and my girls wear slippers a lot. How about a pair of Robeez just for inside?

We used Robeez for the longest time as indoor slippers. They eventually grew out of them and I never replaced them. I also have a pair of cheap crocks that we use now as indoor slippers for the basement. We walk around a lot on our socks, I haven't found any slippers that we could mutually agree on wearing so we haven't gone that route. Even some of the larger kids socks still have the grippers on the bottome to prevent some sliding.

We have carpet in the living room and bedrooms, so the floors don't get cold. But the girls' feet do get cold if they're barefoot for more than a few minutes. I can't get them to keep socks or slippers on at all. They take them off seconds after I put them on. So, lately we've been keeping them in footy jammies unless we're planning to leave the house. They have day jammies and bedtime jammies.

They'll usually leave their shoes on while we're out and about. But at home, not a chance. McKenna even kicks off her boots and pulls of her socks if we're in the car too long. I'm sure she regrets it though when I have to carry her the 50 feet or so into the house with her bare feet at 15 below zero!

We used Robeez too! I loved them. They are convenient and comfortable. I did buy the fake ones from Target and they were horrible (in my opinion) they fell apart rather quickly. The Robeez website has a ton of different styles.
