in hospital

Quick update.. I went for my peri appt today. My bp was 160/90... they did the growth scan and Baby A is 3 pounds 7 ounces and Baby B is 2 pounds even. Peri has requested hospital stay for me so here i am bored out of my mind.They have come in to do vitals and bp is coming down a little but it is still high. Peri says it can be anyday now(depending on bp) to a couple more weeks. Obviously the longer the better but i don't know what the heck is going on with the bp..

I am on the monitor now as well and it appears i am having contractions. I guess i ddin't realize i was having them this often..

I will keep you all posted

I know it can be boring, but keep posting. There are many bored-on-bed-rest souls here that can keep you company. Ofcouse all the ladies are here for you.
Btw, how far along are you, I couldnt see that , oh well........it could just be my pregnancy-ridden brain :umm:

I am actually 31w6d i will be 32 weeks. I made it through the night.. i am swelling so bad and the headaches sucks.. I will keep trucking along though..

Im sorry you had a rough night. You are doing a great job Momma!!

 

Hang in there!!! I had BP issues also. I was also in the hospital in PTL and was on Mag sulfate from 25-30 weeks. Then I got severe preclampsia at 33 weeks and had to deliver. Are you on mag sulfate? You're 32 weeks now-YEAH!!!!!!! :banana: Keep them in as long as you can-you're doing a great job. Hope you feel better and keep gestatiing!!!!!

Yikes! I hope the swelling stops and the bp goes down so you can keep those babies in there a lot longer.

I hope the bp settles down and the swelling and headache go away......or like my DD says...mom say "shoo" to pain and then you can play with me.

Thank you.. I can not believe how boring this is...
I just got the results back from my 24 hour urine and my protein is on the rise. It is now over 800 were on Monday it was 300 and some. My bp is a little better but the damn headaches and spots in my eyes suck... I guess i just wait till peri sees me again and says what we need to do. I am contracting every 3 minutes, but according to he resident doc, they are baby ones and not changing my cervix.... I hope time flies by fast....

 

Hang in there. I am sure it is not easy being in the hospital- but it is good they are keeping a close eye on you. Hope your BP settles down and everything goes well.

So, just seen the Peri.. He says we are going to keep trucking along. He said BP is on the rise but we arent jumping the gun yet.. They are trying to buy as much time as we can. Although i want to call it quits i will still stay strong to help these babies. Peri did tell me that we are not pushing past 34 weeks so for sure I only have no more than 2 weeks. He did stress that if bp still rises and i spill more protein we are going to bail. So it is still anyday - 2 more weeks..
Oh please God give me the strength to get through the bedrest part. I hate it here. You ladies are going to need to entertain me so i don't go insane!

So that is my update today. If something happens at all I will be sure to post so you ladies are informed. Again thank you all for the thoughts and prayers. You all are a blessing!!

Do they have you on mag sulfate? Hope your time flies....maybe you can start designing your birth announcements on the web while you wait?

 

Even though every day must seem an even longer countdown in the hospital, I hope you can find some reassurance in that they're taking really good care of you.

No I am not on any mag yet. It hasn't even been mentioned to me. i just know that they are watching the protein and bp really close.

I did get another u/s today. Both babies were practicing there breathing even the little one. That made me very happy. little babies head measured 27 weeks but the body parts 24weeks. That seemed odd to me. i don't want to stress anymore over the size. God is good and all will be well. I am just going to keep repeating that and trusting what I say!!!
