Just today, Eloise has started to have an imaginary friend! I was so surprised but she is talking about where "Jada" is going and what she is doing. She wanted Jada to lay down by her at nap time. I don't think that Claudia knew quite what to do.. she wanted to be Jada's friend too but they didn't quite have it coordinated, where Jada was sleeping, what she was playing with.. etc.
I'm handling Jada's company as long as Jada will not be staying for dinner! :D
Does anyone else have a twin with an imaginary friend? Does the other twin play with that same friend? Has your son or daughter created this friend at a stressful time? I know it's a normal phase just wondering if it happens more with stress.

How cute :) Mine don't have imaginary friends, but they seem to have alter egos named Rosie and Thomas (after the trains). It's too funny!!!

We haven't developed imaginary friends yet either. But our alter egos are "baby cat" and "princess mermaid." ;) :)

None of my kids have had an imaginery friend but I had one for years. I used to make my mom load in her the car, buckle her seatbelt, set her a place at the table. I drove my mom nuts. One afternoon we went to get in the car and after my mom loaded me she turned to get "Katie" and I told her Katie isn't here anymore, she flew away in the sky. That was the last my family ever heard of her.

My Daughter had an imaginary friend right at 3 years old for about 3 months. And then it just went away. It might have had something to do with stress..(a lot has changed in the last year) But i really think its just a fase that some children with very active imaginations go thru. Her Friend was Shrek...
