I'm such a wimp . . .

I KNOW this was much harder with the twins, but I am SO ready to be DONE with pregnancy! I'm 37 weeks now, 3 cm, and 50% effaced. The funny thing is I measured 37 cm today, with 2 1/2 weeks left, while with the twins I measured 38 cm at 30 weeks, with 8 weeks left to grow before they were born! You'd think I could handle 2 1/2 weeks, right? I KNOW I'm a wimp.

I will try to be patient.

You're not a wimp! You've got 6 kids to take care of while pregnant! You're TIRED! :D I've been feeling like I'm never going to make it, too. I still have about 7 weeks to go and I'm ready to be done already. Running around taking care of other kids just isn't for pregnant women! LOL

You know, I'm sort of in the same boat right now... I hadn't complained AT ALL until last week... the discomfort is what is eating at me.. I really can't wait to see my lil man!

    Good luck to you!

I hear ya! I'm only 33 weeks but I'm also ready to be done. I was just saying to someone yesterday that I can't believe I managed being pregnant with twins. All I can say is hang it there...you are at the finish line and could meet your new baby at anytime. Congratulations making it this far! You should feel proud, being pregnant is hard work!!!!

Awe, you are not a wimp!! You are running after kids, etc. and it's exhausting!!! Plus, I'm convinced the being pregnant full-term is much harder than being the same "size" and going pre-term...lol! With the twins, I was 34 weeks (measured 38 weeks) when I delivered. With Olivia, I was 38.5 weeks (measured only 36 weeks) when I delivered. My singleton pregnancy was much more exhausting than the twins. I worked full-time and took care of the twins the entire pregnancy. With the twins, I was on bedrest for 7 weeks and had NO other responsibilities!

My singleton pregnancy was more wearing than my twin pregnancy probably because I didn't have to run after twin toddlers at the time! My twins were born at 38 weeks and were VERY good sized so at 38 weeks, I was ready for this pregnancy to be done! It lasted another 2 weeks! Hang in there!!! I miss being pregnant, even during those end days. :hug99: In the meantime, vent away! :)

LOL I totally understand what you mean! I was huge at this point and now I can barely rest and sleep.

Ah, thanks, everyone! I just realized that YES, I am taking care of twice as many kids as I was when I was pregnant with the twins, so I shouldn't be so hard on myself. I am having some unusual backpain that just makes me so anxious to have this baby. Just 2 weeks and 1 day to go now, though!
