I'm so stinking proud of the boys!

I've had T&T participating in a program at the library where they have a pre-K story time. It's restricted to 4 & 5-year olds, they do a lot of cool stuff, and parents are encouraged to leave the room so their kids can practice separation and taking direction from other adults. Well, today the plan was to read about scarecrows and then go outside and build one. My boys were the only ones who dug in their heels and refused to leave the room until I came and said it was OK. I'll need to remember next time to give my permission prior to such an activity so they aren't a disruption but I surely don't want to discourage them from refusing a request that doesn't seem right! And yeah, the instructor was not only understanding but complimentary.

Gee, wonder where they get the audacity to question authority... :blush:

Smart boys! I think if mine were there one would have been willing to go, but the other would not have left the room!

Thats awesome! They are so smart! I would of done the same thing when I was a kid u should be proud!
