I think I might qualify for the Lazy Mom Award today. Its just after 4 in the afternoon and my boys are still in their footie PJ's they slept in...

...and its not the first time they have spent all day in their PJ's, then put on new ones to go to bed!! :FIFblush:

We did that today, too. In fact, I took a shower @ 10:00 this morning and them put on a pair of clean pajamas for the day! :p

OMG! If you are lazy then I don't even know what you would call me. My girls LIVE in pjs. From morning to night. We sometimes only get out once a week and that is the only day they wear clothes. And they aren't the only ones. I live in my pjs as well. At night, we take off their pjs and put them into new ones. I figure, if we are not going anywhere, what's the point? I'd rather they dirty up their pjs then their clothes. The other day, we had to go to Mommy & Me and it was the first time I'd put clothes on them in like a week. They looked so freakin cute I started snapping a gazillion pictures and thought "What the heck is wrong with me?" I just couldn't believe how adorable they looked in something other than pajamas

We live in PJ's here. My girls come home from preschool, take off their clothes as they are going to their room and on go the PJ's. I dont wear anything but Pj's when I am at home lately. they have alot more room and are alot more comfy on my big belly. My girls used to only wear there underwear around the house, but now they get emabrrased and want privacy and now its Pj's.

You want to know what is LAZY......when my dh watches them and TAKES THEM OUT IN THEIR PJ's

I was apalled, lol!!! I mean they are clearly not babies anymore, people just think your lazy if they aren't dressed....right?! (if not then I will start doing this too, lol :p )

During the winter when the girls turned 18 months, I left on the footed pajamas all the time. They were warm, comfortable, non-slip, and easy. :D

We usually have one day during the weekend that they refuse to get dressed and it is just not worth the fight. and if I am working DH, well, won't think of it. A couple of weekends ago we went to Ikea in their Pjs to look at new beds for them. it seemed appropriate.

Honestly, I have never ever done that. I can't even do that myself ... I can't start the day without getting dressed and without getting my kids dressed. Lazy? No ... just different! ;)

I do that alot too and not just for having a lazy day but because it means i only have to wash 2 sets of jammies instead of 2 sets of jammies and 2 sets of clothes!! x

We're in our jammies too and they'll get changed at bath time. I'm tired!

The boys live in their footed PJs! Seriously! I figure if they aren't going anywhere there isn't a reason to put on clothes so they just stay in their PJs.

If they have the non-footed pj's on, then they are in those until they are too dirty (unless we are going out somewhere). We only go out maybe once or twice a week if we are lucky. And if they aren't in their pj's, they are in sweats :)

When I'm home with them, for some reason I always, always get them dressed....but never myself! One day I just started laughing at myself when I realized I was searching all over for a navy sock to go with the navy outfit I had just dressed the boys in......and then I looked down at myself - gray sweatshirt from high school in 1993, green pajama pants, and pink fluffy socks!! When they're old enough to get it, surely they'll protest why they have to get dressed when mommy doesn't!

I think my thing with dressing them goes back to when we were trying to create good nighttime sleep habits. It was late spring/summer last year, so the days were really long....but we wanted them to know it was nighttime and time to go to bed, so putting them in pj's was the cue. And the reverse in the morning. I'm guessing they're old enough now that they don't need pj's to tell them whether it's day or night, but the routine just stuck. They are always better dressed than I am!

DH gets them up on the weekdays, and he's the same. He'll get them dressed every morning, but never gets himself dressed!

I am so glad I'm not the only one! I just don't see the point of putting them in "real" clothes if we are going to be home all day! Everyone saying "I love days like that" was making me think I must be the only one!
