Up until tonight, the boys have been able to say Mama and Dada but with no focus. Well, I was playing with Kiefer, and Cameron was playing with his daddy. He was in the hallway, and I was in one of their rooms holding Kiefer. I walked out in to the hallway and Cameron, who was on the floor, looked at me, pointed, and called out Mama! He looked so excited to see me and kept calling out "Mama Mama Mama!" I gave Kiefer to his daddy and he gets up and runs in to my arms like he hadn't seen me in days! I seriously melted into a puddle of goo! I feel like I won the lottery or found the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow!

Here's a funny thing with Kiefer. He's become an aggressive hugger with Cameron. He will squish him into a corner of something and just hug him. Cameron isn't sure what to think of this, but I don't think he likes being pushed in to the corner or even a wall. Kiefer will also climb on top of him when he's laying on the floor and hug him. He's also learning to kiss. Sometimes, Kiefer will give a peck, but more often, he's giving an open mouthed kiss. Jason and I are not big on kissing like that especially in front of them. Sure we give plenty of pecks and hugs, so I figured that's what Kiefer would pick up on. Nope, he's trying to open-mouth kiss me full on the mouth. how uncomfortable! He doesn't know what he's doing. I do think it's the cutest thing though. Cameron has also been the victim of Kiefer's open kisses. He just pushes him away. Poor Kiefer...just trying to show how much he loves everyone. ^_^

Isn't that the best? My girls both do open mouth kisses too. I keep trying to teach them how to peck, but nope. Slobbery kisses are their favorite.

 Awes soooo sweet! DS loves the open-mouthed kisses too! He'll run towards me, mouth open and arms open, saying "AHHHHHH!" and kiss me! He's also aggressive with his affection towards his sister (does the same thing) but she whines cuz he tackles her

doesnt that make you feel soooo goood?!?!?! My kids used to open mouth kiss, until they figured out how to pucker... now they suck in their cheeks and plant a wet pucker on you. It's hilarious to see.

    So sweet :)

DS is our affectionate one...he loves to give the open-mouthed kisses, too.

But, just today, I was holding him as we were gazing out the window and he leaned over and "pecked" me on the cheek...then he turned back to look out the window again. It was the first time he gave me a grown-up kiss

I love that they are finally doing more than just pooping and crying!!! Makes all the hard work totally worth it to get those little kisses :)
