I'm so excited...

I go for my 15 week appt this coming Tuesday, and I've been getting all my appt's scheduled 4 tuesdays from the next...well the next appt will fall on my hubby's bday, which is also my fatherinlaws bday. So we are going to do the gender cake thing like the Duggars did...only it will be a gender/birthday cake. For anyone who hasn't heard this idea, its where you get the u/s tech to write the gender on a pc of paper, and you take that paper to a bakery or a friend and have them bake a cake...blue inside for a boy, pink inside for a girl...and you know the gender when you cut into the cake. I am 4 weeks away from finding out and its going to be the longest 4 weeks ever but I think it will be the coolest way to reveal the gender!

When exactly is your u/s? How exiting about the cake reveal. Take lots of pictures and please share them. How are you feeling?

 

Oh it sounds like fun but there's no way I could go from the u/s to the bakery with that paper in my hand and NOT look! A disinterested third party would have to do it for me.

Have fun with the party, and I hope the baby is co-operative at the u/s!

 

Thanks guys! I have my u/s on Tuesday!!!!! I can hardly wait, and I'm not sure I'll make it there without looking at the paper...my hubby won't let me look though. He will be my rock, lol.

I am feeling so good these days! I love the second trimester. And this kid kicks nonstop. I didn't really feel the twins kick until about 19 or 20 weeks, but I've been feeling this babe really good since 16 weeks (and random flutters even earlier). The bean even made my hubby's hand jump on my belly the other day. Its a strong one! I'll be so glad to be able to quit calling it IT. LOL!

 

That's a fun idea! We've never found out the gender before birth, but I love hearing everyone's "reveal" stories
