I'm so close!

I had a checkup today at the OB's and a NST. The babies look great although they are a pain to monitor since they wiggle so much it takes forever just to get a 15 min. strip. They asked if I wanted to schedule my c-section? Ahhhhhhh! I guess so. They did a quick scan and thought that Baby B might have turned head down and pushed her sister's feet out of the way. The nurse moved me to the bigger scan machine and no luck, still transverse and Baby A breech. Damn.

Then the OB dropped the bomb on me. I'll have a growth scan on May 12th. If Baby A is still a lot smaller than Baby B, I will have a c/s the next day! If my BP rises, I'll have a c/s that next day too! I'll be one day short of 35 weeks. That is in 11 days!!!! OMG Call me superstitious but I don't want them born on the 13th. I'm gonna push for the 14th if I can. If Baby A has caught up to her sister and my BP stays the same, I'll have a c/s at 36 weeks but they didn't seem to think that would happen.

I was sooooo nervous going in there today. I had all my bags packed just in case they sent me back to the hospital for pre-eclampsia. I feel like I am on parole. LOL

I was up in the nursery tonight trying to bite my tongue with DH. The light switch and outlet covers are still off. The blinds haven't been put up, the curtains aren't hung, there is no hanging rod or shelves in the closet because we repainted in there. I can't put anything away. The rocker is still in the garage. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Wow! It is stressful. Trust me, I understand. We are also getting to the point that if baby A goes into distress they are going to take them. I even started the steroid shots. I have nothing ready if itmakes you feel better. I figure that if Ihave them this early that they will be in NICU for a while and I will be able to prepare things. I am not even supposted to move around much because they want all the nutrients to go to the babies, not me!

Don't worry. It will all eventually get done. The most important thing right now is the babies.

 

You are close! Don't worry about them being born on the 13th, my Mom was born on Friday the 13th, so it is a lucky day for us.

Hopefully they'll stay put for as long as possible.

I was actually born on Friday the 13th and love that it's my birthday.
