At my OB check on Friday I'd gained 9 pounds in 2 weeks! UGH That better be all babies and fluid. That was the first day I couldn't get my wedding ring on. I thought I was doing pretty good still getting it on at 31 weeks. Oh well. I had a wicked headache too and my BP was around 135/85. They drew blood to check for Pre-E again. My urine was good though. I guess the blood test was okay because they never called and the headache is a little better. I still have ankles but my toes and fingers are starting to look like marshmallows. LOL

We went to a 40th birthday party on Friday and my baby shower on Saturday. No more public outings for the rest of this pregnancy! I'm staying in my sweats til these babies come out.

Sounds like you were talking about me too. I had to take off the wedding band yesterday because I don't want it cut off. I have no ankles any more and my poor feet. I have my OB appointment tomorrow so I weighed myself this morning and was shocked to see a 6 lb. weight gain since my last visit. DH says it has to be babies and fluid from the look of my legs & feet because my appetite has decreased over the last 2 weeks (seems like there is no room for food with everything squished). I started wondering about pre-eclampsia too, but my BP is always low. I guess we can suffer in swollen puffy misery together.

My feet are so swollen, I look like I have 2 big pillows for feet! My toes, ankles and the tops of my feet are all puffy and just look plain aweful! I am too big to soak in the tub... I don't think I could climb out at this point! LOL~! My hands are swollen, too. I am trying so hard not to eat or drink sodium, but it is almost impossible. I feel like all I ever drink anymore is water and that doesn't help with the swelling. Just try keeping your feet up as much as possible. I find that actually laying down and putting them up on a pillow works better than sitting up with them propped up. Have someone bring in a cool, wet, towel to put over them when you are laying down. It at least cools them off and makes you feel a little bit better. Hope knowing your not alone helps! Good luck!

Ok, all my swollen Expecting friends...if you CAN...get THEE TO A SWIMMING POOL!!!

It'll help get your swelling down for a little while and you can have a little relief from time to time and it feels WONDERFUL to be WEIGHTLESS!!!

I couldn't wear my wedding ring at about 21 weeks. I got a substitute which I now cannot wear anymore as of 33 weeks. My feet and ankles have been really swollen lately. My feet feel like they are numb when I walk on them, so strange. My BP has always been fine, my OB said this is normal with twin pregnancy especially, so unless my BP goes up we are doing good.

I soooo need to go get in a pool. We belong to this icky athletic club that DH likes because of their tennis courts. I never go there but it's sounding good. I've been taking long baths at night but cold compresses sound better to me right now.

ahhh poor girl! Hang in there. Savor the puffiness as long as you're not too miserable. You'll be running when they get home and have plenty of time to get that circulation back up to snuff. Bummer about your ring. The pool does sound like an excellent idea.
