The RE's(Reproductive Endocrinologist in case someone didn't know!). So yes-it's official-we are going to be doing a FET(frozen embryo transfer) SOON! :woohoo:    We went yesterday, thinking Oct/Nov sometime to have the transfer-because I knew I would need tests done, AF to show, etc.. So-the Dr agreed. Then she looked at the calendar, asked when my last AF was, and said I was borderline-but I could do the sono test TODAY! So yesterday we did my blood test and the sono-whatever it's called... and now-I just wait for AF to come! As for a transfer date? Try the end of SEPTEMBER, beginning of October. YIKES! Ideally we would want the boys about 2 years apart. If it's a bit sooner-then that's fine too!

We have 10 frozen. Part of me hopes it works the first time(transferring ONE, thank you ;) ), and then part of me doesn't. I don't want to have to go through it again...and again....and again...

So-time will tell! My meds arrive next week-and the scary part is I will be doing the progesterone oil-which I never did before, but they have a much higher success rate with it on FET's-so that's our route. I could have the transfer around their first birthday party(Oct 4)! Yikes!

This time-it will be a total surprise to everyone. No one knows we are doing it-so that's really exciting! We can actually surprise people when we announce our pregnancy!

Wow. You're brave. I'm not ready to say we're done, but I'm definitely not ready for more yet. Good luck to you! I hope the FET goes smoothly.

    Wow! Good luck!

I did PIO for my IVF and it does get sore after a week or so. (I started the night- I think- of the transfer and did them until I was 10wks pregnant.) One tip that I heard and benefited from was 'warming' the vial up before the shot. Basically, just hold it in your hand for a minute or so. Just a little body warmth will help the oil go in better since it's pretty thick.

    GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Wow, how exciting! There's no way I could think of getting pregnant yet; we'll talk about it at the boys' 2nd birthday. I wanted mine closer together, too, but they're just so much work that I can't fathom being exhaustingly pregnant right now ;).

Keep us posted, hopefully everything goes smoothly! I don't know anything about IVF/FET but I had PIO shots to get my period monthly & they weren't that much fun but not horrid either. Like someone mentioned, it's thick, so having it warmer does help. I always got mine in my hiney & it was only sore briefly; not sure about other locations.

I'll be keeping my eyes glued for more updates! Just think, another cutie like your boys...how could anyone handle all that cuteness :)?

Let us know how it goes! I had to use the oil too, even though ours was a fresh cycle.
