I'm not pregnant, am I?????

Not really a twin related question here--other than the fact that I'm not ready for another set or even 1 for that matter. Just wondering if anyone could shed some insight onto a birth control related question--I'm on the patch and have been for 9+ months post babies and a few years prior to having them(went off to get pregnant)--anyway, I've been having some brownish pink discharge for the past 2 days--I'm on the second patch of the month--and this is not normal for me. No other real pregnancy symptoms, so probably nothing but just a little concerned. Anyone have any experience with this type of discharge while on the patch???

I've never been on the patch. But when I was on the pill every one in a while I would get the same thing you are describing so it could just be a little bleed through not sure if I'm using the correct term.

But then again when I got pregnant I had the same thing about a week or so after conception. If you are unsure definately I would take a pregnancy test. If you are pregnant and keep using the patch you can put your baby in some serious risks. Plus if you take the test you will not have to keep wondering.

 

Sometimes you have break through bleeding when you are on the pill (or patch). Did you test?

 

I haven't tested yet--since I still have nearly 1 1/2 before expected period.

With that time frame I would definately be thinking implantation. If you are pregnant now is when the egg would be implanting which can cause pink or brownish discharge.

If it were me I would stop using the patch immediately and wait until I knew for sure before starting it again. Obviously use some other form of birth control in the meantime. I think condoms without any spermicide or anything like that are the only safe things to use if you suspect you may be pregnant.
