This site was recommended to me by some wonderful women from the ovusoft website.

I am 8w1d pregnant. We just found out we are having twins. We were able to see the heartbeats. I AM excited, but I am also scared. I think I am more scared. I am fearful of losing one (or both). I am also fearful of my abilities to handle such a big responsibility. AND, where do I put two babies and what do I need for two babies.

I have been extremely nausious and tired. However, when I have a short period of time where I feel somewhat normal- I get scared that something has happened and something is wrong.

Right now, if I just knew everything was okay, I think I would be able to move on from the fears. But the constant worrying has me down.

I just keep praying :). That is all I can do.

Thanks for listening. My next post will be more positive I promise!

Congratulations and welcome to Twinstuff! I think most of us can say we have felt exactly as you do! I think the one good thing about pregnancy being as long as it is is that it gives us time to go through all these emotions and be ready when the time comes!

I would encourage you to check out the sticky thread at the top of this forum titled Beginner's Tips and Twin Must Haves. It is a great resource to start and get your mind gripped around being pregnant! You can find the thread here. We would also love to have you check out our Expecting Roll Call thread here and follow the appropriate links to add your due date and upcoming appointments and milestones!

I look forward to getting to know you!

Welcome, and congrats on your twins! I was a nervous wreck my entire pregnancy, I was always afraid something was going to go wrong. Thankfully it never did, but I think it was just to prepare my for being a mom.

:sign0016: to TS! I am glad you found this site. It will help ease your concerns. I know when I first found out I was having twins I was so excited, but also scared something would go wrong. It seems just like yesterday. Now I am 29 wks 3 days and I still worry. I thought it would go away after I got out of my fist trimester, but since a twin pregnancy iand it is so dif. from a singleton pregnancy you don't know what to expect. I have found this sit to be very comforting and the ladies are very friendly and know just how you feel. Good luck with your pregnancy we look forward to your future post. :hug99:

Congrats and welcome! Pregnancy can bring on ALOT of worrying, but you do have to have a little bit of faith and tell yourself that everything is going to be okay. I know the thoughts can be scary...but everything seems to work itself out sometimes.

Even being this far along..at almost 36 weeks...I still have a bit of a worry that one or both might not make it, but I have to believe that everything is going to be alright. Sometimes its tough to realize that 2 babies are coming out!

I hope this site helps answer all of your unanswered questions; people here always give some encouraging advise.

I'm pretty new around here too (and have been mostly lurking). I found out I was having twins when I was 8 weeks pregnant too and spent the next 4 weeks worrying about Vanishing Twin Syndrome. I just had another u/s yesterday (at 12w3d) and saw that both twins were doing well. So I've been worry free for about 24 hours now. Although I'm sure I'll figure out something else to worry about!

congrats on twins. I wish that i could say it gets easier - the worrying - but as each day passes and you find good things, your pregnant mind (as crazy as it is) will think of some off the wall thing to worry about. It's a fun time as well as a tiring time. I thought off all teh bad things when i first learned that we were having twins too. It was a scary thing but as time goes by, you may find that it's easier to relax than to sit and worry. Once them babies are here, you'll thank God everyday that you didnt stress over small things. I hope that you find alot of freinds on here and alot of support along the way. I found out that i was pg with twins at 11 weeks and carried them until 36 weeks. I hope that you have a great pregnancy and that all of your fears finally subside. Also, any questiosn taht you have about what you may need once they're here, feel free to venture to the first year board and ask us.
