    Hello everyone~
I have been hearing about this site for quite a while now and I just haven't been able to get logged in and navigate through it! I am expecting twin girls on Sept. 1 vie C-Section because they are preached...darn it!. I already have a 21 month daughter so I know I am going to have my hands full. My first question is: Where is the best place to get matching cribs that are durable and well priced? Second, What kind of Strollers do you all suggest with twins and a toddler. I am thinking of some sit and stand kind, and probably stacked, not next to eachother ( I think they are too bulky :) ) Any opinions would be great!

:wavey: and welcome to Twinstuff!!! Congratulations on your twins. We got our cribs at Babies R'Us and they have held up for three years so far! :good: As far as the stroller goes, I have no suggestions since I didn't have a toddler and twins. Sorry!

Good luck and have fun surfing Twinstuff!!

Hi and welcome to twinstuff! We bought 1 crib (for our last pregnancy) from walmart, it was exactly the same brand and model as the one from sears and babies r us only cheaper and has lasted 1 year great! It was by Storkcraft.

We also have a little one and haven't been able to find a solution to the twins and toddler issue as far as strollers. You could try a Joovy Big Caboose but when I saw a little girl in the sit/stand portion last weekend I knew it wouldn't work for us as our youngest isn't big enough yet and will only be around 15 months. It just didn't look too comfortable for her as she looked somewhat hunched over and squished and her mom said she had fallen forward a few times. She looked to be about 4 yo.

I hear a lot of people suggesting the snap and go by baby trend. That would be perfect if you didn't need something for an older child. We went with the graco duo glider so that I can wear one smaller baby and put one in the stroller and our 15 mo instead of using the baby trend and trying to wear my older one.

Good luck! And Congrats!!! I could not have made it this far without this site!

    hi there

I am curious about the c-section, it is still early based on a baby being breech, they could still move. Are you/your doctors open to that possibility?

I am in a similar boat, I have a 20 month daugther and expecting two boys in September. I am looking at the Valco twin trimode w/toddler jump seat. My only hesitation is it really is a tank of a stroller, but it seems the best option for 3.

Hi. I am in a similar situation. I am 34 weeks with twins, and have a two and a half year old at home.
As far as beds, we are doing the ARMS REACH Cosleeper, original size, and putting both twins in there for the first few months. As they out grow that, we will move them either to one crib or two, depending on how well they are doing sleeping together (not rolling on each other or waking each other up....).

As far as strollers go, we are using the SNAP n GO double for the twins carseats for the first few months. My toddler has a single stroller that she rarely rides in. Then, when they are big enough (six months or so) we are using a MACLAREN SBS stroller. I figure, both twins can ride in it, or one twin and a toddler and I can always bundle the other twin to me in a moby wrap or carrier.

    Just our plan! Good luck!

I'm 34 weeks as well with a little girl who will be 2 on the 30th of this month.

Baby Depot (Burlington Coat Factory) has a special where when you buy the same exact items for twins you get 20% off the second item. That's how we bougt our bassinets and it really saved us alot. You just have to tell them you're having twins.

I put out a notice to my twins club that I was in need of a triple stroller and found someone who had a used one for a nice price. http://www.strollerdepot.com/items/baby-tr...riple-stroller/ This is the link for it new... only $249. It does not hold carseats though is the only bad thing, but I was having trouble fitting one that would into my trunk. This is also so very easy to push... very light and smooth turns. I'm just planning on laying the seats back as far as they will go and getting one of those neck supports for the twins. I also am getting a used $25 double snap and go for times when it will just be the twins for convenience so I don't have to take them out of the car seat.

Just wanted to say welcome to twinstuff and congrats on your twins. As for the stroller I don't have advice since my daughter is already 5, sorry I couldn't be much of help.
