I'm joining too!

Just wanted to let you know that I am joining in as well. My twins, Ethan and Abby, were 2 in June and we are expecting in January. We also have another son, so this will be our 4th. I was a little hesitant to announce the pregnancy because we had a miscarriage in Jan. 2007 at 8 weeks, bascially right after I posted on here about it. I will be 16 weeks this Wednesday and felt we are much safer now than before. Of course the miscarriage has made me a little more nervous. I rented a doppler and we started hearing the heartbeat at about 10 weeks. It is really neat and reassuring. We have had an ultrasound and it is just one in there is time. My due date is Jan. 30. Things seem to be going really well. Other than being tired. That hasn't really gotten better yet, but I am hopeful that it will. I have enjoyed reading the other posts on the pregnancy after twins section. I think this will turn out to be very helpful. Good luck to everyone!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! I went through the same thing you did. I was pregnant last year and lost the baby at 9 weeks and 5 days. I had just announced my pregnancy here as well. I thought that I was in the clear because we had a good appointment and then something went wrong. I lost the baby on Nove 23rd and this baby is due on Nove 22nd. I can totally understand you being hesitant to post about this pregnancy. 16 weeks is great though! It sounds like you're doing great! I hope that you have an uneventful pregnancy and that you make it full term!

I rented it from Baby Beat. I rented it for 3 months. I figured by mid to late September I would be able to feel the baby move and would be more comfortable. I have a feeling I will most likely extend it though. After being able to hear the heartbeat on a regular basis I think it will be hard to give it up.
There are actually a couple of companies out there that you can rent from. I would probably google it and see what you come up with.

We're due so close together!! I'm due Jan 28th!! I'm excited to have a pregnancy buddy on here I had a doppler with the twins and LOVED it. I didn't get it this time though, though I would have loved to. Congrats!!

I was going to rent one, but now I am going to the DR twice a week so I get to hear it while I am, plus she is extremely active now!!
