I feel sooo bad my boys are 4.5mths and have their first colds. Ryan's started last Thursday and Christopher on Sunday. And now they are both miserable!
The doctor said she was surprised that Ryan's lungs were clear, despite his horrible cough!

We go back Thursday if not any better...

ugghh...i just needed to vent! I'm soooo tired and feel so bad for them!

    mucas mucas go away
    DON'T come again another day!

 I am so sorry that they are both under the weather. Try and keep them elevated when sleeping and a humidifier in their room might help too.

:( Poor boys! Colds are never fun. Are you using the nasal aspirator? I had to hold my boys down to use it, but it gave them some relief. I also got a crib wedge (just one) and used it in the PNP to keep the boys elevated. Hang in there!

I hope they feel better soon! I would definitely either use a crib wedge or pillow under the mattress to keep them elevated. I hated using the nasal aspirator but it did help. Hang in there!

    Thanks guys!!
we do have their cribs wedged, actually last night i left them in their swings, it was much better! And they hate their noses sucked too! At the dr's yesterday they asked us to be apart of a study that tested for the flu-although we won't ever know the results...dh and i wish we wouldn't have said yes, it gave ryan a nose bleed (i'm sure because it was so dry and sore) so we didn't use the aspirator on either of them last night.

A funny thing we learned...we have been using the "little noses" drops and when we give them to christopher we expected the typical screaming...but nope, he looked at us funny and then smiled! i thought that was hilarious!

thanks for listening to my vent! you guys are the best!

Oh the poor things, I hope they get better soon. How cute that Christopher liked the nose drops!! I´m currently putting ear drops in my DS´s ears and he just hates it!

I hope they feel better soon. Our pediatrician had told us not to use the aspirator too much as it can actually irritate the nasal passages and cause more mucus to be created.

Hang in there! Pretty much eveyone I know here in NH has gotten that cold! Including us, we're still working on getting rid of it. Even DH got it, and if he gets a cold, it's pretty virulent!
