I'm in here now!

So I posted this in Parents Club but I thought I would introduce my self in here.
Hi!!!
I'm Andrea, I'm the proud mommy of 14 month old B/G twins!
I had a really rough pregnancy with the twins and we weren't planning on having anymore. I was on birth contorl and everything and yesterday I went to the dr. because I thought I had a stomach bug and found out that I am 7 weeks along.

I have an appt with my OB this morning so that we can talk she will do an ultra sound and figure out the best plan of action to keep this baby or babies in my belly as long as possible.

I'm scared it's going to be BABIES too because the twins pregnancy was triplets. AHHH!!!

I'm about to head to my appt. so I will update you later!

COngrats on the new baby!! I know how u feel i have 14 month bg twins two n was in n outof hospital many time with the pregnancy! I am now 4 months prego n they say it only one but im still not sure!! I will pray for u and everything happens for a reason just remember that!! Thats what my husband said when we found out bout the new baby n he is right

This one was a surprise too after my b/g twins. Found out at 6 weeks

Wow, I didn't realize your twin pregnancy started as triplets...were they spontaneous? I would guess that this one is just a single baby. I think all of us who have had twins and then get pregnant again have that "fear" of wondering if it's one, two or more babies again. I hope your u/s goes well...please update when you can! Congrats again

Congrats! Can't wait to hear about your appointment! I got pregnant when my twins were 10 weeks old. At 6 weeks we found out this was another set of identical twins.(seriously what are the odds?) At 12 weeks sadly one had vanished yet at the time I was convinced I'd go in and there would be three in there so I know how you are feeling. I can say however this has been a completely wonderful, uneventful breeze of a pregnancy compared to the twins. I'm hoping the same for you.

I'm Back!!!

OK. The appointment went well. I'm actually 9 weeks along and both babies are measuring great. Did anyone catch that. BOTH babies are looking great. I'm in shock! There are definatly 2 babies in there again!!! Baby A's heartbeat was 130 and Baby B's heartbeat was 156. I got to hear them and see them and i'm really excited. I know how to raise twins. I can do this!!! I guess now i'm hoping for a very uneventful pregnancy.

My OB is going to have me come in everyother week for my entire pregnancy and after 20 weeks I will start seeing the Peri on the other weeks. We already discussed bed rest and leaving work. I have a GREAT job and I will be able to work from home as soon as I am ready. According to my OB I should start working from Bed in the next 2 weeks. She wants me to take work as easy as possible and since I will be chasing twin toddlers around after work resting during the day will be best.

I'm going to talk to my boss tomorrow and tell him what's going on. He will be very excited for me! I'm going to try to come in 1 day a week and work from home the other 4. The twins will still go to the sitter so I should be able to take it pretty easy.

Well... :drinks: to a very uneventful twin pregnacy this go around!!!
