I'm going back to bed

Nobody said 3 week old twins were easy - however today needs a do-over already - and it's only 1:30!

Both babes decided to have a party at 5:30 a.m. - one very tired mommy did not appreciate the wide awake babies - as cute as they are - refusing to settle for two hours - and then falling asleep just as my three year old woke up. Then came trying to wrangle a three year old to get her ready for nursery school - and convince her that she did not need to bring all her worldly belongings to show and tell today.

Then came 3 phone calls trying to sort out hubby's schedule and dealing with three different agencies that I swear can't talk to each other.

Then back to nursery school for pick up time - with babies in tow. By this time - I'm pooped. Only to get home and discover a dog COVERED in poop from a dirty diaper she has discovered and decided to roll in.

Finish lunch - which is surprisingly uneventful. And then my three year old manages to spill half a bottle of water all over the computer desk - managing to soak hubby's day planner in the process and have the water drip down the back of the desk onto the power bar. All while I'm nursing my son and my daughter starts screaming for her bottle!

I'm going back to bed and someone else can take over the second half of the day!

I neglected to mention the other dog peeing on the floor, and my three year old raiding the chocolate to help herself to a snack! On top of that I've had three separate sets of people invite themselves over this weekend in order to meet the babies! I'm not letting them in the door unless they bring diapers and food ;)

Poor hubby just walked in the door - I've handed over two stinky babies and a hyper three year old and left the room!

I hope you are in currently in the middle of a very long nap!! And goodness gracious I really don't know how you ladies with toddlers survive when you have twins! I just can't imagine. You are obviously a superwoman though :)

I think you deserve a nap. As an outside observer, its kind of a funny story, but maybe not for you today. We will all look back and laugh at these days someday.
