I'm getting braver!

So I am getting braver. Today was my first trip to the store by myself. Granted all we did was run into walgreens to pick up a prescription, but I am getting more confident about getting out and about by myself. Everything went great.

 

congrats! it feels great to get out. I've even returned to my "normal" grocery store outings to pick up one or two things or dinner for the night like I used to. Granted it takes about 30 minutes longer than before but that's not bad.

yesterday in the store parking lot when I was loading everything and everyone into the car a woman came over and said "oh my, do you have two babies in that cart" I smiled and said yes as I always do and then she said "oh, don't you have any help dear?..." and for the first time I said, "we don't need any help, we do just fine by ourselves... "

 

:yahoo: That's great! Next thing you know you'll be taking those babies all over the place!

 

It feels good to be able to get out on your own.....I took my babies out for the first time alone at 4 days not by choice DS wasn't eating so took him to the ped.....after that though I didn't take them out til 3 weeks from there on we go every where by ourselves....DH works alot so if I don't want to be cooped up that's how it has to be

 

That is great!!! You will see once you start taking them out more little trips like that, that before you know it you will feel comfortable taking them all kinds of places

If all I have to do was p/u a prescription at Walgreens-I still go through the drive-thru :laughing: I was hoping they would do something like that for photos too :lol:

I remember how good it felt the first time I went somewhere alone with them
My big outings were Walmart & Target (we still spend quite a bit of time there!)

GOOD FOR YOU! That's awesome! I'm starting to get out with mine more and more too. It seemed daunting at first but I've gained more confidence with each outting! It's more fun to go out with them too, isn't it??

 

thats great. I did that with just the twins when they were 2 months old and went to Walmart--I vowed to never do it again.
