Good news! My urine protein actually went down 100 pts. to 296 which is just below the 300 threshold (it was 396 on Saturday). So I get to go home! I packed up in about 3 mins. Now I am waiting for our babysitter to come get me. Of course this is the day DH has to teach a training course and won't be home til later. I'm on modified bedrest and pelvic rest (no DTD) not that that has happened for awhile lately anyway but now it's completely off the menu.

Before I could leave I had to meet with the NICU team and go over what will happen if the babies are born early. This hospital has a wonderful NICU but it is still scary to think of my girls with feeding tubes and Cpap breathing masks. But the overall message was that they should do great even if they need to spend some time there. Then they took me to see the operating room and where the babies will be assessed. Scary! I'll be there in 3 weeks or less. OMG! Seems like a very short time all of the sudden. My doc said with the Pre-e that I won't go past 36 weeks now before delivering. I promised Baby A a car when she turns 16 if she'll turn head down and save me from surgery.

Glad you are heading home. :clapping:

I am glad you met with the NICU team, hopefully your babies won't need to go there, but I'm sure it gave you peace of mind as well to know it is a good NICU and what maybe to expect, just in case. The NICU can be scary, it's the unknown, but they do such wonderful things with our little preemies. :)

It is scary when it gets so close and you visit the NICU, but I'm happy that you have such a wonderful hospital that is taking the time to show you and prepare you as much as possible. They are doing a great job! And a car, huh? I'm hoping she turns head down! You better keep your promise, we've got written proof of it! ;)

Wow! That is great that you are able to go home now! That is really nice that they gave you a heads up about what the plan will be.

I was laughing about what you told baby A! LOL
