I'm contracting!

So I've had a dull aching back all day - went in to the hospital to meet with the anesthesiologist for pre-op stuff, and decided to go visit the OB. While there, they hooked me up to a monitor and said I am contracting. She checked my cervix, but instead of telling me how effaced or dialated I am, she said I still have about 2 inches to my cervix and it is really soft. Whatever that is supposed to mean I guess. She said that when he drops a little more, things will get moving as the cervix is "really soft". I am NOT comfortable AT ALL today and this is the first day I've really felt uncomfortable the entire pregnancy. I am 37 weeks - but should measure about 38 weeks. Tomorrow I go back for my normal OB visit.

Camping should be interesting this weekend!

I will be about 1 hour from the hospital. Not too far. Don't worry about me - we won't stay up in the mountains if anything questionable starts.
