I'm Bleeding :(

I had a little blood last night and was all clear most of the morning.
now i am bleeding again :cry:
i have an apt with my ob's office at 2pm with a different dr
I am so sad.
will update when i get back.

 

I had bleeding in the 1st trimester with 2 of my pregnancies. I know it's alarming but I was told that it's fairly common for bleeding to occur (with no known reasons - and still carry to full term). It's obviously best to get into the OB to get thoroughly checked out - but just wanted to let you know that it doesn't always have to indicate that somethings *wrong*

ETA: the bleeding that I experienced lastes a couple of days (pretty much like a period) - that was the case in both pregnancy that I had the bleeding. I was 12 weeks on one and 9 weeks on the other.

:hug: Poor thing, bleeding is scary. But like Shandy said, it doesn't mean it has to be a bad thing. I'm over 28 weeks now (I have to change my ticker) and I still spot on occasion, especially if I do too much (like hauling baskets of clothes around, a lot of walking, etc.). I spotted all throughout the pregnancy with the twins and they were just fine.

I had bleeding with the twins right in the beginning. It's part of the reason I had an u/s at 6 weeks. I hope it is nothing. :hug:

 

I am trying to be positive
i also was bleeding (with the last pregnancy) at 8 weeks which is when we found out we were having twins.
its just so scary when its happening.

I've also had bleeding/spotting...this time...not with the twins. It can be scary but is not necessarily an indicator of something bad. I'll be thinking of you and update as soon as you can.

i'm so sorry your bleeding...it's really scary and nerveracking when it happens. With my daughter this happened at 13 weeks and then we found out that it was typical and not to worry. She was a-okay. With the twins, i thought i was starting to miscarry because i was bleeding a lot around 5-6 weeks without pain. I prepared myself for the worse, but when they checked my levels they were very high and we found out that the reason i was bleeding so much and for so long was due to it being twins. Try not to stress yourself out. Are you having pain with the bleeding or are you just bleeding? Good luck on your appt.

 

I spotted this pregnancy (with my twins) but didn't last pregnancy (which was horrible and everything went wrong). My OB joked the other day that it seems like all his successful moms spot.... that they need to do studies on that.

Hopefully all is perfect and it's just "lucky" successful spoting!

I spotted for 6 months with my singleton after twins. If you are not having any other symptoms of trouble, you should be okay. However, peace of mind is really important! Good luck.

**********UPDATE*************

Had my Dr apt and she checked me out and said everything seemed ok. she had me go have more blood taken so they can check my levels as compared to monday when they took blood. so now i just have to wait till they call and say what my levels are. Hopefully they are going up as they should.
More waiting, i will let you know when i hear from the dr.
i have my fingers crossed.

 

did they do an ultrasound by chance?

 

i have an apt for one on the 26th next friday i had one on monday and he said it was to soon to see anything so thats why we were waiting till next friday.
i just hope my numbers are where they should be.
