Unfortunatly, you sweethearts may have to hear me vent a time or 2 before this baby comes. I woke this morning in a absolute fog, and I cannot get over it. I feel like this baby will fall out of me at any moment, and I have 0 energy. I cant sleep, eat too much and sorry for the TMI, but Im in the bathroom CONSTANTLY with "issues of the colon".

Poor DH wants to help, but he has to work. Im just hopeful that all the good news yesterday at the Dr appt (head down, thinning out, etc) will spur something on by Monday! I feel so sorry for my little guys...they are inevitably stuck indoors, and thier mommy is being party pooper.

All I can think of is 'Father of the Bride II'..."Every Partty has a pooper that's why we invited you, party pooper, party popper"....

Iv'e been dizzy, and I feel like I am getting the flu. The kids are being very cute and silly today too,..I just love them to pieces, and I feel so bad they have a mommy thats being a poop!!

Is it possible that you are really in labor?

I know when I was in labor with the girls I felt like I was coming down with the flu, and almost didn't call my OB. But thankfully I did, because it was labor.

:hug99: Good luck. I hope the end is very near for you.

This is exactally what I thought of too.....the whole upset tummy thing can be the first stage of labor.....Good luck and hope the baby comes before Monday.

Yep, that's what happened to me too. I had the chills too where I would just shake. Then I would be burning up. I thought I had a stomach bug, but I delivered the next morning!!

If your back starts to ache off and on, time the pain. When I called my Drs office that morning and told the nurse about my symptoms and that my back hurt off and on, she asked me if I had timed it. I was like, no, should I? And she said to time it and call her back. I did, and it was like every 5 minutes. She cancelled my appointment and sent me straight to the hospital. I was in labor! I had no clue!! My water broke with my first delivery, so I new I was in labor then. But I seriously thought I had caught a bug. Good Luck!!!

My DD just had her first baby 6 weeks ago. She was in the bathroom all evening, having "diarrehia cramps" while at the same time straining because she felt "constipated". She finally realized she was in labor and by the time she got to the hospital she was 6 cm dilated. By the time she got the epidural she was at 7 and delivered about 2 hours later. She said "how was I supposed to know what labor feels like, this is my first baby!"

I hope you are in labor too, and by this time may have delivered.

    Good luck with your labor!!!
Hope it is quick and easy!

At 38.5 weeks I had an appointment at the hospital to set a date for my c-section with Noam and Sapir. They asked if I wanted to have it the next day... and I did!

That night I was nervous... and all night every hour I was having diarreah/stomach cramps.

The next morning we were at the hospital for 6am and I started to bleed. The nurses were unfased by it and I was like... hello... the contractions started to come but they kept me waiting until 7pm to have my c-section because of all the c-section emergencies. Ugh...

Noam was breach and Sapir was transverse... luckily they waited to come out and the c-section went smoothly.

That was me exactly w/ the twins. I had PTL a few times so when I was feeling sick, I just ignored it bc I wasn't having contractions. Then my legs started cramping so I called the DR. and I went in and I was 6cm dialated! I would be cautious. Good luck Mandy!

Hey ladies...No baby yet, still feeling crummy. Last night was a horrible nights sleep. Sweet DH let me sleep in (as he has been doing for a month strait on weekends!!) So I did get SOME sleep. I go back and forth from constipation to loose stools....Im having contractions but intermitently, but they are getting more uncomfortable. Since this is my first actual natural labor experience, Im trying to focus on little details, even though thats been hard to do with getting my house ready this weekend.

Thank you for all your words of encouragement, and I will certainly keep updating you on what happens. I do have a feeling it will happen soon though...

    ;)

I'm late jumping in on this this weekend, but I too think it's labor!! Anything I've read said some women spend hours with diarrhea, cramping and even flu symptoms when they first start labor!! I hope this is it for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to hear a birth story at least this week...no pressure thouhg :)
