Hi All!!!! A friend of mine got me on this site (she know I need the help & support!!) & I'm excited about getting all the help I can get!! My DH & I have a 4 year old son & are now expecting twins, due the beginning of August. Both our son & the twins were concieved by IVF. I was a little shocked when I saw two little circles on the first sonogram...I guess I thought that since I only had one the first time, well then I'll have one this time...I think that's what did it!!! Baby B was much smaller in the beginning & we were told that things could go either way, but that baby is fighting through, now measuring only a day behind Baby A. But, so far so good. The morning sickness that comes & goes throughout the day is something to get used to, but hopefully that will be gone soon??? So, I'm just freaking out while my DH is excited as all can be...and calm. Meanwhile, we need a bigger vehicle, baby stuff (because you know we didn't keep anything! ), etc.... Welcome and congratulations on your twins! I am sure you will find this website very helpful. I have recently found it myself and value everyone's advice, experience, and opinions! Hi and welcome. I'm new here also, but in the last 2 weeks I've found this to be a VERY helpful site and lots of people that know what we are feeling. I'm also due in early Aug. we have a 3 1/2 year old and a 15 month old, so twins were a big shock to us. We were trying for a third and got a bonus. Ours are natural with no family history so we were super shocked and freaked out, but really getting excited now!!!

It was same way here...DH was nice and calm and I cryed for three weeks. We had nothing either after DS was born we were for sure done and then crazy me thought let's give one more a shot and wamb two more total of 4...so starting over again but it has gotten a little easier and a lot more fun as time passes. You will love this place, I have it up all day long at work then when I get home. I am sure I would have visted the ER 100 times by now if it weren't for here just hearing others stories has helped put my mind at ease! So welcome!!! :sign0016:

Congratulations! You will do great I am sure, and this is a great place to get all the info you will need. I have learned so much since I joined. It was a huge surprise for us when we found out. Twins don't run in my family, so this was a complete shocker! It was a good thing my DH was sitting down. It took a while for it to sink in. Now I am completely thrilled and so are my other children. Since my youngest child is 8 1/2, I have absolutely nothing!!!! It's funny to have to start over and now with twins! Glad you joined and :sign0016:
