Ilyse was in a car accident...

For those of you who know Ilyse from here (mother to Justin and Ellie), she was in a car accident on Saturday. A car slammed into another car which ended up spinning out and slamming right into the drivers side of her car. She was very scared by what happened and ended up with her right arm (her writing hand/arm) broken in three places. She had surgery the next day and returned home from the hospital last night.

Ilyse is a friend of mine and part of my local twin group here where I live and I was very frightened when I heard the news. There was definitely and angel looking over her and she mangaged to walk away from the scene...THANK GOD!!

Things will be tricky for her for a while as she is not allowed to drive a car for 2 months (you can only imagine how hard that will be with twins!) and she is minus the use of one arm for a while (also pretty hard when taking care of 2 year old twins!).

Ilyse, I love you girl and I'm just sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that you are okay. But more than that, I'm soooo glad for your family that you are okay!! I'm teary eyed right now at the thought of what could have been but I'm not going to allow myself to go there!

Thans so much for notifying everyone Mel. I love you. And girls thanks so much for all the prayers and kind words. I appreciate them so much. I know I hardly ever post here anymore an you guys still remember me and offered your best. That means alot!

I am hanging in there. I'm not getting worse and very slowly, little by little my arm is healing. I have amazing friends that have been so helpful to us throughout this ordeal. Most of the friends are from the local twin group Mel & I belong to. Also the inlaws have been an amazing support system to us anyway but now they have really stepped up. And dh is just Unbelievable the way he is handling things. I am so lucky and feel so loved.
