If you have ECI coming out for PT, how often?

We see a PT for gross motor delays once a month (actually JUST got a PT after a 4 month wait) and I think I'd like her to come out twice a month. The girls have improved a great deal with DH and I working with them everyday but I think more support from them would bring more results. What is the "norm" regarding the frequency of visits?

My friends who have had any type of EI therapy generally get one hour per week per therapy. For instance, if they qualified for OT and speech, they go one hour of OT and one of speech per week.

We were supposed to get twice a month, but it doesn't always happen that way. Seems like either it's a snow day, or a paperwork day, or some kind of holiday.....I'd guess probably every other month we see them twice.

The girls have been getting PT since they were 6 months old (in addition to speech therapy). Our PT comes once a week. Brooke has a total of an hour a month and Natalie has an hour each week. So she splits Brooke's up into 15 minute sessions and works with both girls together. Personally I don't think I would have been happy with anything less our PT coming once a week. Our speech therapist has always been every week as well. We also get nutrition therapy which is not as crucial to me as the ST and PT (she just weighs them, measures their height and goes over our diet, etc.) and she only comes once a month.

My Lillian stopped sitting up at 7 months and we starting getting her PT immediately. She gets it every other week for 45 minutes for gross motor strength, particularly upper body strength. Within 6 weeks she was sitting up again and now she is almost walking on her own. I would up the PT if you can.
