Are you huge, with just that one? I'm only like 17 weeks and looking huge. All of a sudden I just popped out. I went to buy some new maternity clothes today and the saleswoman was surprised when I told her how far along I was, as she thought I was a lot further. I expected that when I had the twins, but never had that with my older 3. But then I guess this is baby #6, and I am all stretched out from twins previously. Still, it feels weird to look this pregnant at 4 1/2 months along.

Well, I only have the twins and Bec but I was pretty darn big with her...and she ended up being nearly 11lbs. I think I just make big babies...even if only carrying one, my body thinks that one needs to be the size of most twins combined!

I guess I probably am not a good one to answer! I think I was just as big carrying Evan as I was carrying twins...

Do you know what you are having yet? My belly was up high with both pregnancies...and I have all girls! That's just my speculation!

Dielle - I've been meaning to PM you and see how the pregnancy was going! I hope it's going well for you and you are over the morning sickness. You know that you have to post a belly picture now so that we can all oh and ah over it!

Oh I hope I don't end up as big! 13 lbs of baby (and 2 placentas) meant I was as big as a house. At less than 6 months, people started asking "having that baby any day now?" And my skin started to tear down at the bottom of my belly (different than normal stretch marks). Ok, now I'm nervous!

I'll be 16 weeks Saturday, and I feel big as well. Not like I'm about to give birth or anything, but more like 6 months than the 3.5 that I am. But I'm also only 5'1" and have no torso, so....

With my first singleton pg I was huge early on anyway, then with the twins I started around 6 wks with a hard belly, now I am only 7 wks and still quite a bit smaller then I was with them. I am really wondering what will happen this time around.

I was quite large with Dax. I was well into maternity clothes by the end of the 1st trimester.

With this baby though, I didn't really show until 20 weeks. Talk about a difference!

I am only 10 wks along but I have noticed that I am pooching out sooner with this pg. Not as soon as with the twins but quicker then I did with my singleton.

I have been told this is your 3rd and a pg after twins, you will show sooner and might be bigger (I only went to 28 wks with the twins so I think that might be ok. lol).

I am only 9 weeks with a singleton and I am already wearing maternity pants. With my boys, I was tiny for so long - nobody believed I was pregnant, never mind having twins! But this time around it's totally different. I started gaining instantly - I've already gained 10 lbs. I have a slightly different metabolism now because I had my thyroid removed this year (maybe that's a contributing factor) but I also just think my uterus is expanding faster. It's a strange feeling and makes me wonder how big I'll be in a few months. I have a feeling I'm going to be very, very big!

I was so much LARGER it seemed with my most recent singleton (3 months old now). If it makes you feel better I gained more weight with my first child (singleton) than I did with my fourth (second singleton) child but I looked larger and gained the weight much earlier!
