Last week I started waking up in the middle of the night with horrible cramps in my calves. They would almost bring me to tears, and I'd have to get out of bed and walk it off. Well I've started doing calf stretches at least 4 times/day, stopped wearing heels, and now at night if I feel like my legs need to stretch I make sure I do it with my feet flexed and not pointed. I haven't had a cramp in 3 nights. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else was having these problems. Has anyone else tried anything that worked?

I've heard that taking in more calcium- rich foods can help with cramps, and keeping well hydrated too. I have suffered with leg cramps too, and they've not been as bad recently- hope that helps!

I read somewhere that increasing your intake of iron works.

I was having them - luckily they've stopped. Hmmmm.... maybe I started eating the right type of food.

    They hurt so bad.
