If the chance of IDs is 1 in 250 births..........

    You know those factoids that are on the TS home page? Just now the fact read something like, "the odds of havings ID twins is about 1 in 250 births".

    Is that 1 in 250 of ALL births?

    OR

    Is that 1 in every 250 of TWIN births?

    I guess I never thought about it before!

    I think id are about 25 percent of all twin births and all twins make up 3 percent of the population (1 in 89 I think I have read)

    I would think that it would be in ALL birth, because 1 in 80 births results in frat equalling 3 in 250...that would mean 246 births in every 250 were singletons....just my thoughts. I don't really know....jmo, don't know if that even makes sense, hahaha

    Love your babies names.....those were going through my head the other night when i was thinking about 2 girls names....

    I'm pretty sure it's 1 in 250 births, not twin births.
