It must be in the water! One of my closest friends here found out she is preggo with twins!! She's ten weeks. Our music teacher's wife found out she is having triplets!!
Anyway, I automatically recommended Twinstuff to them. I am curious though how many of us out there are not in the USA? I am American but living in Zambia.

Wow triplets (there's a very funny book called Extreme Motherhood written by a british comedienne and detailing her pregnancy and first 8 months with triplets if ever you come across it).

I'm British but living in Israel.

    This is interesting!

Melissa, what takes you to Zambia to live? Just curious how everyone comes to live where they do if it's not their home country!

We're here in Michigan at the moment. But are preparing to move to Guam, in the very South Pacific. I used to live on St. Croix in the Virgin Islands.
My husband is in the military. We'll be stationed in Guam for 3 years. I'm NOT looking forward to the 13 + hour plane trip with twins. But I suppose we'll get through it like we have everything else.
I bet Africa is very exciting and interesting.

This may sound really stupid, but my sister is in a international business class and they are having a potluck, she is looking for some kind of food to bring, can you please recommend something and include the recipe. TIA

    Amy,
She can check out this website http://www.congocookbook.com/. Interesting though how we tend to still gravitate to the foods we eat in the US. We just don't have the choice available here but can pretty much make most of the things we like. The one thing I really miss.... GOOD MEXICAN FOOD!!

I'm half american half german and currently living in Germany.
Been here for a long time now, so my english is getting worse and worse even though I grew up bilingual.

All of you living in different countrys: What language are your kids speaking? Are they being raised bilingual?

Mine will, my husband is mexican. So they will speak spanish and german. And since we plan on moving back to the states in a couple of years english will become their third language.

Rebecca- Yes we are at AIS! Small world indeed. We have been three years, and have signed on for another year.

Katja, DH and I are American, so the kiddos will learn English. I wish they would be bilingual. This is an English speaking country although I think there are 70+ tribal languages. The nanny does say things to them in Nyanja. Anyway, in the school I work in most of the kids are bi, if not, trilingual. It is so cool!!! How lucky your children will be!!!
